Prof. Te-Hsin Liang

Brief Biography:

Te-Hsin Liang is an Associate Professor and Chairman of Department of Statistics of Information Science of Fu Jen Catholic University in Taiwan, the Secretary-General of the Chunghwa Data Mining Society and the Vice-President of the Chunghwa Marketing Research Society. Her research interests include the survey and sampling method, construction of measurement structures and indicators, Internet usage and behavior, and applied statistics in different fields. The author is also in charge of two projects related to Internet behavior research, the first project is “the Survey of Quality of E-Life Indicators and Measurement System in Taiwan”, running from June 2006 to December 2009 and supported by the Institute for Information Industry (III) in Taiwan; the second project is “Internet Broadband Usage in Taiwan”, running from January 2004 to the present and supported by the Taiwan Network Information Center (TWNIC).

Academic positions:
