Brief Biography:
Dr Suneel Chhatre is a board cetified Medical Director for Clinical and
Molecular Diagnostics. Dr. Chhatre received his PhD degree in Biochemistry &
Molecular Microbiology from the Indian Institute of Technology (Roorkee), which
earned him a Best Research Scholar award and two patents. He was awarded
postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Colorado at Boulder to study
metabolic evolution in PCP catabolizing microbes.
He had worked as an Assistant Profesor of Cell Biology & Biochemistry at the
Eastern New Mexico University and the Medical University of America before
becoming the Medical Director of Molecular Diagnostics.
He has more than 15 years of research experience and has published more than 30
research papers in Enzyme Evolution, Microbial Physiology & Protein Engineering.
Dr. Chhatre's research is focused on understanding the Molecular Basis of
Pathogenesis and Evolution of Novel Physiological Traits in Microbes. He is a
member of American Association for Advancement in Sciences (AAAS), Sigma-Xi,
American Society for Quality (ASQ) and is also a Certified Lead Auditor for
ISO9001:2008.
