Brief Biography:
Dan is an Urological Surgeon at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital (Adelaide) and a Senior Lecturer at the University of Adelaide. He attained a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degrees in 2002, and a Masters degree in Public Health in 2012. Dan is currently undertaking a Masters degree in Education. Dan undertook specialist surgical training in Adelaide, Darwin, New Zealand, Melbourne and Sydney. Following core Urology training, he completed a Fellowship in Prosthetic Urology and Uro-Oncology at Monash Medical Centre.
Dan is a keen researcher with over 50 publications in Urological Journals. He regularly contributes to National and International meetings. Dan is a current member of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons Examination Committee. Previously he was appointed to a two year post as the Trainee Representative to the Board of Urology and the Urology Representative to the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons Trainees Association.
His areas of special interest include Prosthetic Urology, Uro-oncology, Greenlight laser prostatectomy and General Urology.

I think this is a wonderful opportunity to aid the dissemination of quality research. Further the online model fits with modern practice whereby practitioners can quickly review the literature between patients.
